The Parish Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Elizabeth is mentioned in historical records from 1323, 1412, and 1449. According to Glagolitic registers, court proceedings based on the *Vinodol Code* were held there.

The medieval structure of this church in Tribalj was significantly reconstructed and expanded in the 19th century, with altars designed in the Neoclassical style. The main altar features a mechanical altarpiece. The church façade was recently restored.
