Crkva Blažene djevice Marije Snježne
Description
A medieval church from the 16th century, built on the foundations of an older structure. It was reconstructed in the 17th century, as indicated by the Glagolitic inscription above the entrance.
Additional information
The church contains numerous Glagolitic inscriptions in stone. The rich inventory of this church includes a valuable main altar, a tombstone with an inscription of the Queen of Death, a large number of tombstones in Glagolitic, as well as exceptionally valuable 17th-century organs with a bellows, which are among the oldest organs in Croatia.
