Roman Trail

Description

The trail starts in Crikvenica, near the Sports Hall, and for the most part follows the Dubračina stream all the way to its source near the village of Čandrli, behind Drivenik.

The trail is 15 km long. It was named after the fact that a Roman road once followed the stream, connecting Tarsatica (Trsat) and Senia (Senj).

Along the trail, it is worth visiting the preserved section of the Roman road, the ruins of the 14th-century chapel of St. Spirit (Sv. Duh), the early Croatian cemetery at Stranče, the old mills (malenice) in the village of Cerovići, and the Drivenik fortress.
