Museum Collection “KUĆA KLOVIĆ”
Juraj Julije Klović is regarded as the greatest representative of European and global miniature art, and one of the most prominent artists to have emerged from Croatia. To honor the renowned illuminator and miniaturist, a museum collection was opened in 2014 in the old school building in Grižani.
The rich memorial collection consists of several thematic rooms that showcase the work and life of this famous miniaturist. Klović, born in 1498 in Grižani, is the most well-known and exceptional figure to have come from the Vinodol region.
The exhibition of the museum collection is also available virtually, allowing you to explore it from anywhere.
As you walk through the extensive memorial collection, which is divided into different thematic rooms, you will not only learn about the work and life of the Croatian Renaissance painter and miniaturist, Julije Klović, but also discover other cultural treasures of the Vinodol municipality.

**Directions and Parking:**
Kuća Klović is located in the building of the old elementary school in Grižane, 200 meters from the village center.
From Crikvenica, follow the signs for Grižane, with two possible routes:
- Via the village of Dolinci, which will bring you to the center of Grižane. Turn right and drive 200 meters to the sign for Kuća Klović.
- Along the road that passes by the quarry. At the intersection where you can turn toward Bribir or Grižane, turn left for Grižane and drive approximately 500 meters to the sign for Kuća Klović.
