Right at the entrance to Krmpotsko Polje in Krmpote, on the coastal side, lies the "Kuk" viewpoint. It offers a fascinating view of the entire Novi Vinodolski Riviera (Smokvica, Klenovica, Povile, and Novi Vinodolski), the Kvarner Bay and its islands, Velebit, Učka, as well as a longitudinal view of the Vinodol Valley.

Before setting off, check the weather forecast, wear sturdy sneakers or hiking shoes, and adjust your clothing to the season (lighter clothes for summer, a cap or hat for sun protection, a jacket or thicker sweater for spring and autumn, and a windbreaker or raincoat for winter). Bring enough water, food if needed, a knife, band-aids, a bandage, a watch, a mobile phone, sunglasses, and a camera.

Set off on your journey with companions, follow the trail markers, and stick to the marked paths.
Please do not litter, light fires, destroy or climb dry stone walls (gromače), carefully open and close any gates you encounter on the trail, do not pick grapes, figs, or protected herbs, and do not disturb sheep or wild animals.
